Fine Arts Council Launches Online Arts and Entertainment Calendar

Warren, OH May 24, 2018

The Trumbull County Fine Arts Council (FACT) today announced the launch of its new, online Arts and Entertainment calendar, Warren Wire. (www.warrenwire.com)

“Our goal is to give consumers a comprehensive listing of the rich arts and entertainment offerings that are presented weekly in Warren and the surrounding area,” says James Shuttic, FACT President.

Any non-profit organization or business hosting an event may have it listed on Warren Wire by submitting details to the site’s administrator, Asha Gregory. “The event does not have to be held in Warren to be listed,” says Gregory, “it just has to be logically of interest to Warren residents. Whether its a church or a neighborhood bar — if you are hosting an arts or entertainment event we’d like to list it.”

Potential listings should be sent to info@warrenwire.com at least one week prior to the event.

“We have a content-rich calendar, and a promotional plan to make sure everyone knows Warren Wire is available and how to find it,” says Shuttic. “We have a Facebook page, a robust online ad campaign that starts today, and a television campaign planned for this summer.”

Warren Wire has a modern look and a color-coded organizational structure that allows users to search for events by type (e.g., “live music” or “theater”) or by timeframe (e.g., “this weekend”). It even has a special section for Warren Homecoming events. Users will soon be able to sign up for a monthly newsletter of upcoming events.

The exclusive, premier advertiser for Warren Wire will be Sunrise Entertainment, promoters of the hugely popular “River Rock at the Amp” concert series. “We are kicking off another great summer lineup this Saturday night with “7 Bridges — The Ultimate Eagles Experience,”” says Sunrise Entertainment President Ken Haidaris, “so Warren Wire is here just in time to help us let the world know.”

Warren Wire was made possible by a $13,600 grant from the Fund for Warren’s Future (FWF), which supports projects dedicated to economic development in Warren. The FWF Board consists of Anthony Payiavlas, President and CEO of AVI Foodsystems, Sam Covelli, President and CEO of Covelli Enterprises and Doug Franklin, Mayor of the city of Warren.

Mayor Franklin said, “We are experiencing tremendous growth in downtown Warren right now, and the FWF’s board felt the Warren Wire concept would support that, and encourage future growth, as well.”

Founder Adam Keck, whose Modern Methods Brewing Company is located in downtown Warren, added, “I love this idea. Promotion is the lifeblood of any consumer business; especially a new one like ours. Anything that helps us promote our business is a very welcome tool. We’ve already started submitting events.”
